Currently sitting at level 60, Lucine is my second Priest character.

Since the new Cataclysm Warcraft Expansion came out I have been spending my time working on my new Worgen – ok its been out for months now and I know people who have level 85 Worgen’s to my measly level 60 – but having a child kinda infringes on your game time you know!

Totally loving the Worgen lore and quest chains – and since everything has changed it gave me better change to re-do a priest, I already have a level 74 who is stuck – through my own fault.

I suffer a serious case of alt-itis when it comes to WOW – having 48 characters over 5 realms….. and my highest is level 83!

I really should get my ass in gear and get that one to at least level 85 then I can concentrat on all my many many alts!

A preowned game I picked up that sounded like it would be right up my street. And I wasnt wrong!

You are playing as Kyle Hyde a former cop who is now moonlighting as a travelling sales rep whilst doing some freelance sleuthing. Its 1979 and he stops at Hotel Dusk where he becomes involved a web of mystery.

The game is played whilst holding the DS like a book – you use the stylus to navigate yourself around whilst the main screen shows it played out in an 3D view. Quite liked that concept – the way the graphics are drawn are equally good in my opinion.

I finished the game all too quick for my liking, but I guess that is a good thing as it held my interest enough to complete it in a day.

Well looks like the LEGO Harry Potter has got me hooked on the whole LEGO series!

I picked this one up for £10 in a gamer store in Newcastle – the only reason I got it was because if  I’m honest it was cheap!

I love the Indiana Jones movies so couldnt wait to get settled down and start playing this.

Like Harry Potter (and the others I am guessing will be the same) LEGO studs are your main form of currency throught out the game. You can play at Indiana or Marion – swapping at will thtought the game, sometimes Marion has an ability that Indi doenst and vice vera.

I loved the cut screens in between chapters and “films”.

Also like LEGO HP I loved the game play and style – certianly a winner in my eyes.

This the first the LEGO games series that I have played – huge HP fan!

Now since I havent played the LEGO Star Wars or Indian Jones ( yet) I had no idea what to expect. I was rather curious as to how they would portray all 4 years in game format.

LEGO studs are your currency, which can be found all over the levels  and as I discovered these can be used to buy unlockable features and customisations.

As you progress through the game you attend lessons in Hogwarts, learning new spells and potions from the professors that will help you in completing the levels.  Though you dont get all the potions right away – so I found that for all I had completed year 1 I was still required to go back through all the chapters and repeat them once I learned a new spell or potion.

This didnt bother me, as I made the game more intersting and last longer! When you go back and re-do a level it tells you what you are missing, like red bricks – so that kept my busy trying to access all the nooks and cranies that were hidding these little gems.

Looking forward to trying out another game in the LEGO series…..
